The guys at Star Digital have begun work on the preparing for high growth programme from the East Midlands Development Agency (EMDA).
As you can see from the photo, there was a lot of brainstorming going on, and our heads were hurting at the end of the day!
What is it all about then this high growth programme? Well, we were identified as a fast growing agency, and the time had come for the management to identify the critical success factors for growth. The programme is designed to create a three year plan for the business, and for us to be coached through the strategy development, tactics and training for a year.
The first session was all about how we see the business now and in the future, developing a SWOT analysis and then coming up with factors for growth that are seen as critical.
One of the key things to fall out of the process was to create a vision statement that we could use to really explain what we do, and here it is. No doubt you’ll see more and more of it as we develop the strategy. But our passion for standards based design and best-practice marketing shone through, and we know we need to develop better processes for that to funnel down through the organisation and our diverse client base.
