The Challenge

As Ewbanks continue to grow their range of departments, they approached us to take their digital marketing to the next stage. Our goal was simple:to assist in overtaking their competitors and achieving fundamental auction KPI’s such as increasing valuations, registrations, and bids to grow their business further.

Our Strategy

Our digital marketing experts applied our tried-and-tested SOSTAC approach. In doing so, we pinpointed SEO and PPC as key areas of focus which would drive results.

We intelligently organised Ewbanks’ Google Ad account bydepartment and area. This is a key step which is often overlooked, and it makes optimising the ads a lot easier in the long ran. A comprehensive keyword research strategy was then implemented to ensure we could find a great balance of cost per click and traffic. One this was collated it was sent over to the client to sign off.

On top of this, we looked to run localised Google ad campaigns for Surrey and West Sussex, so we could strengthen Ewbanks' brand awareness within the area whilst generating new valuations. This enabled us to attract new customers in the local area and find people who would be willing to travel to Ewbanks to get their items valued.

SEO was also a key pillar in the overall digital approach implemented by Star Digital. It was imperative that any technical issues that were hinder organic rankings were resolved immediately. This was combined with setting up various goals on Google Analytics to ensure we could obtain as much useful data as possible which would then shape our marketing activities in the future.

 To help raise awareness and generate interest in niche areas such as trading cards and classic cars, our team chose to optimise new and existing landing pages across the website. In turn, this helps increase both the domain authority and Google Ad quality score to improve our campaign results to meet the KPI's.

The Results

Following our initial work with Ewbanks, we continue offering ongoing on-page and technical SEO support. This includes content writing, backlink outreach, regular page speed and keyword reviews. By regularly updating landing pages, optimising SEO, and completing reviews, wecan shift our focus strategically and make key campaign decisions to help Ewbanks grow further.
