The Challenge

Our digital marketing partnership with Fellows has gone from strength to strength since we started working with them back in 2006. Our specialists meet with the Fellows team monthly, using the tried-and-tested SOSTAC approach to highlight areas of focus and improvement.  

By doing this, we set short and long-term goals to measure against Fellows KPI’s: bids, registrations and valuations. Currently, we are developing their SEO and email marketing strategies, including digital content and design consultancy to maximise organic search awareness and user experience.

Our Strategy

Weekly technical audits using Raven allow us to flag up and fix technical SEO issues. Issues are categorised as critical, warning and needs attention, allowing us to organise and prioritise tasks to improve their user experience and increase their rankings. We monitor website traffic and make informed decisions for optimising by using Google Search Console. Through this, server errors, site load issues and security issues can be monitored and fixed. 

Using curated content directly from the Fellows team, our email marketing experts implement interactive elements – such as countdown clocks and product-specific GIF’s – to launch on-brand email campaigns designed to increase engagement and click-through rates. Database segmentation and A/B testing allows for a better understanding of audience engagement and targeted content.

The Results

As a long-serving client, we’ve taken great pride observing Fellow’s success. For over 15 years, we’ve helped them take advantage of the digital transformation offered to the auction industry and establishing them amongst their peers as one to watch. 

Our celebrated recent wins include ranking number one for major keywords including jewellery auctions UK, jewellery auctions, and watch auctionsLondon among others. These keywords currently offer optimal monthly search volumes meaning that not only are they getting traffic – they’re getting the right traffic.

Moving forward, we are looking into improving the layout of email campaigns alongside consultancy on readability, key word usage and content writing across the Fellows website.
