Errors typically highlight the more severe issues on your website. Often they include things like missing title tags, and duplicate content, broken images and pages returning a 4XX status. These errors act like a black mark from Google and affect where your website shows in search results, fortunately these tend to be the easier things to fix.
Warnings are the areas of your site where there's something technically wrong, they can be more difficult to fix but in doing so they will massively increase the health of your site. Warnings typically include images missing alt tags, low word counts on pages and in title/meta descriptions and missing H1 tags.
Notices are the least severe type of issue, although often there are quite a few of them which means that they can add up. We find that the most common notices are multiple H1’s on the same page, missing internal links, missing anchor text and pages that require more than 3 clicks to be reached.
