Before department stores and online retailers came calling to stock up, luxury bath and body brand Guava & Gold needed to sell their ethically sourced, environmentally friendly products on a website that reflected everything they stood for.
They like sharing stories and telling tales just like we do, so it took us no time in getting to the bottom of their brief. Guava &Gold wanted a website that invigorated the senses and made their customers days better just like their products did. They wanted a website that not only brings out the best in their brand, but one that brings a whole new level to their user experience as well.
With the website’s user experience and interface at the forefront of the brief, Shopify was the eCommerce platform of choice. Chosen for its customisation potential and for its ease of use, Shopify enables the Guava & Gold team to mitigate costs by being able to manage and maintain their site in-house.
We shared plenty of conversations over coffee with Guava & Gold, piecing together a picturesque design which shines a light on the luxury their products evoke. We care a lot about capturing the essence of a brand, so we took our time getting to grips with the Guava & Gold experience.
Our developers and designers took the time to truly get to know what a Guava & Gold customer wants and needs. This allowed us to not only build a website with the user journey in mind, but to create experiences every time. We pointed out potential pain points which would discourage potential purchases. By doing so, we were able to rethink their approach in order to increase confidence and encourage conversions. Bringing our experts on board, we added areas for promotional videos and carousels to further expand their vision and increase interactivity.
By shining a light on the brand bringing together environmentally and ethically friendly products with the essence of a tropical holiday experience, Guava & Gold’s Shopify storefront has seen an increase in visitors. In fact, we’ve seen traffic increase by 437% after just one year!
Since lift off on launch day in 2020, we’ve supported Guava &Gold in achieving their goals of growing their brand further with ongoing digital marketing services. Since then, they’ve landed themselves in luxury department store Harvey Nichols, as well as Myza, Wolf & Badger,URBN and Ocado.
